The Salmon | Unisex Tee

A True Piece of the Pacific
Every summer, the salmon return to Campbell River, and for a short window, we get to turn one of those fish into something you can wear for years to come.

We use a real male pink salmon caught during the seasonal run, painting the fish by hand and pressing it directly onto each tee. The result captures the natural shape, scales, gills, fins, and little details of the fish itself. No carving, tracing, or two fish alike.

This year’s catch is Cash the Salmon, caught on August 15, 2026. Cash gave us a record-breaking run of 40 freshly stamped tees before being returned to the earth through composting.

Each garment is tagged with its unique story.

Stamped by Hand, Made from the Catch
Each salmon tee is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using a freshly caught salmon and water-based silk screen ink. We work carefully and intentionally with each fish, making every impression before it is composted and returned to the earth.

Because we’re working with a real fish, every print is different. You may notice the salmon’s teeth, tongue, gills, eye, scales, or other details captured in your print. Placement, colour, texture, and markings will naturally vary from tee to tee, making each one completely one of a kind.

Everyday Comfort
Crafted from a premium cotton/poly blend sourced from Canada, this tee is super soft and comfortable from the first wear. Its relaxed feel makes it easy to wear whether you’re heading down to the river, exploring the coast, or just hanging out with your Mossy Posse.

Unisex Sizing
Fits true to size for men and offers a relaxed fit for women. For a more tailored look, consider sizing down. Check our size chart to find your perfect fit.

Stamped in Small Batches, Always by Hand.
The salmon run only lasts for a short time each summer, so these tees can only be made while fresh salmon are available. Each fish gives us one small batch of approximately 30–40 tees before that catch is composted and returned to the earth

Natural details change with every catch, which means every seasonal run is different. Once a fish is gone, that batch is gone too.

It’s a slow, seasonal process that connects each tee to a specific fish, a specific catch, and a specific moment along the Campbell River.
