Our Story

Our story started in Vancouver, surrounded by concrete and traffic. We moved to Vancouver Island in our early teens, and now we’re raising our own kids here, giving them the kind of childhood we always wanted. More time outside, muddy boots, exploring, and the freedom to just be kids.

We get to experience a lot of it alongside them, finding new places, spending time outdoors, and making the most of where we live.

The Mossy Coast is a reflection of our life here and the things that matter most to us: nature, family, and doing work that fits into the life we want to live. After growing up around city life, we’ve come to appreciate having a little more space, a slower pace, and time to enjoy the everyday stuff.

That’s what The Mossy Coast is about. It’s a mix of our work, our family, and the life we’re building here on the coast.

Our Process

Every Mossy Coast piece is stamped by hand in small batches. No machines, no mass production — just time, intention, and a lot of love. The textures come directly from nature, which means every print is one-of-a-kind.

We work around nap times and school pickups, balancing creativity with motherhood. It’s not always tidy, but it’s real

Our Why

The Mossy Coast is more than a clothing brand to us, it’s a reminder to slow down, breathe, and notice the small things. The smell of cedar. The sound of rain on the roof. The feeling of home when you’re surrounded by trees.

We hope each piece brings that same sense of calm and connection to the people who wear it.
