Our Story

Our story begins in the city of Vancouver, surrounded by concrete and traffic. In our early teens, we moved to Vancouver Island, and now we’re raising our kids here, living the kind of childhood we only dreamed of—wild, full of dirt, and completely free. We live through our children, exploring, discovering, and slowing down together.

The Mossy Coast is our way of staying connected to nature and to our family. Our work and our life intertwine, and we’re grateful for this balance. Having experienced the chaos of city living, we’ve learned to slow down, appreciate the little things, and savor every moment. That’s what The Mossy Coast is all about—celebrating the beauty in imperfection, nature, and family.

Our Process

Every Mossy Coast piece is stamped by hand in small batches. No machines, no mass production — just time, intention, and a lot of love. The textures come directly from nature, which means every print is one-of-a-kind.

We work around nap times and school pickups, balancing creativity with motherhood. It’s not always tidy, but it’s real — and that’s what keeps us grounded.

The Mossy Coast is more than a clothing brand to us — it’s a reminder to slow down, breathe, and notice the small things. The smell of cedar. The sound of rain on the roof. The feeling of home when you’re surrounded by trees.
