The West Coast Fern | Womens Crop
 
Gathered from the Forest Floor
Sword ferns are a defining plant of the West Coast forest, thriving in shaded, damp environments beneath towering evergreens. For this design, we gathered fallen fern fronds and brought them back to the studio to use directly in our hand-stamping process.
The fronds were arranged vertically to create a graphic inspired by a forest tree line—using the fern shapes to echo the outline and spacing of trees along the horizon. Natural variation in each frond gives the print its texture and movement, keeping the design clean, balanced, and rooted in the landscape that inspired it.
 
Each garment is tagged with its unique story.
 
Stamped by Hand, Made to Last
Each Fern Crop is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using 5 sword fern fronds. The design is printed with water-based silk screen ink that blends softly into the fabric, creating a durable yet comfortable finish—like it’s been with you on every adventure.
Printed in small batches, each piece has subtle variations in placement, color, and texture, making every tee truly one of a kind—just like the wild moments that inspired it.

Crafted from a premium Canadian-sourced cotton/poly blend, the Fern Crop is soft, breathable, and easy to wear from the first day. Its relaxed, cropped silhouette makes it perfect for layering or wearing on its own, whether you’re exploring the forest or hanging out at home. The fabric feels comfortably broken-in from the start, giving you all-day ease without compromising style.

Stamped in small batches, always by hand.
Because each tee is stamped individually by Rochelle and Michaela, we can only create so many at a time. This slow, intentional process means every piece is part of a small batch—crafted with care, not rushed. It’s our way of keeping things personal, purposeful, and true to the heart of Mossy Coast.
