The Runaway | Unisex Pullover Sweater
 
Born from Patience and Wilderness
For two summers, we kept our eyes on a weathered stump along the winding gravel road to our favorite Campbell River campsite. When we finally went to collect it, nature had other plans—our daughter stumbled into a hidden wasp nest, earning five stings and cutting the trip short. A second attempt (minus one crew member) finally brought the stump home.
We carefully taped off a rectangle on the log round, framing its unique grain, then hand-stamped the pattern onto each sweater. Now, every print carries a story of patience, determination, and a little wilderness chaos.

Each Runaway sweater is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using a cedar log round. The design is made with water-based silk screen ink that melds softly into the fabric, creating a durable yet cozy finish that feels like it’s been with you on every adventure.
Printed in small batches, each piece has its own subtle variations in placement, color, and texture, making every sweater truly one of a kind—just like the wild moments that inspired it.

The Story Behind The Rainbow
The Rainbow Log sweater features a vibrant design inspired by a real piece of wood we found in the forest — a log hollowed out by carpenter ants and later cut in half to reveal a perfect, rainbow-shaped arch. This natural formation was too beautiful not to share, so we turned it into a graphic. Printed on a super-soft sweater, this is a wearable reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places.

Each sweatshirt is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using our rainbow shaped Douglas fir log, making every piece truly unique. The stamping process requires precision with ink blending, roller angling, and placement on the curved fabric—an artful challenge that rewards us with striking, textured designs.
