The Story Behind The Rainbow
This design comes from one of the first logs we ever stamped with—a naturally hollowed-out Douglas Fir once home to carpenter ants. We were drawn to the strange and beautiful shape they left behind—raw, mysterious, and full of character.
After some time, the idea of a vibrant rainbow inspired us to take another look. While a naturally occurring rainbow shape seemed unlikely, we realized the hollowed-out portion of the Douglas Fir log could be carefully cut to reveal the perfect arc. That moment brought the log back to life—and gave us one of our most meaningful designs yet.

Stamped by Hand, Made to Last
Each Rainbow tee is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using a painted Douglas Fir log round. The log design is painted with water-based silk screen ink that blends softly into the fabric, creating a durable yet comfortable finish that feels like it’s been with you on every adventure.
Printed in small batches, each piece has its own subtle variations in placement, color, and texture, making every tee truly one of a kind—just like the wild moments that inspired it.
 
 
Everyday Comfort
Crafted from a premium cotton/poly blend sourced from Canada, this tee offers a long fit—loved by our Mossy Posse for the extra coverage whether you’re out exploring or just hanging out. Its super soft fabric feels broken-in from the start, making it your go-to for all-day comfort.

Stamped in small batches, always by hand
Because each tee is hand-stamped individually by Rochelle and Michaela, we can only create so many at a time. This slow, intentional process means every piece is part of a small batch—crafted with care, not rushed. It’s our way of keeping things personal, purposeful, and true to the heart of Mossy Coast.
