The Story Behind The Rainbow
The Rainbow Log sweater features a vibrant design inspired by a real piece of wood we found in the forest — a log hollowed out by carpenter ants and later cut in half to reveal a perfect, rainbow-shaped arch. This natural formation was too beautiful not to share, so we turned it into a graphic. Printed on a super-soft sweater, this is a wearable reminder that beauty can be found in the most unexpected places.
 
Each garment is tagged with its unique story.
 
 
Stamped by Hand, Made to Last
Each sweatshirt is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using our rainbow shaped Douglas fir log, making every piece truly unique. The stamping process requires precision with ink blending, roller angling, and placement on the curved fabric—an artful challenge that rewards us with striking, textured designs.
The design is printed with water-based silk screen ink that blends softly into the fabric, creating a durable yet comfortable finish that feels like it’s been with you on every adventure. Printed in small batches, each piece has its own subtle variations in placement, color, and texture, making every piece truly one of a kind—just like the wild moments that inspired it.

Stamped in small batches, always by hand. 
Because each sweatshirt is hand-stamped individually by Rochelle and Michaela, we can only create so many at a time. This slow, intentional process means every piece is part of a small batch—crafted with care, not rushed. It’s our way of keeping things personal, purposeful, and true to the heart of Mossy Coast.
