The Story Behind The Island For anyone who carries Vancouver Island in their heart, The Island design celebrates its wild and untamed beauty. Hand-carved from a Douglas Fir tree round found near Beaver Tail Lake in Strathcona Park, the stamp was carefully hand carved to capture the island’s beaches, forests, and rugged terrain. Each curve and carved line preserves the natural character of the wood and the spirit of the island itself.

Each Island tee is hand-stamped on Vancouver Island using a real Douglas Fir tree round. The log is painted with water-based silk screen ink that blends softly into the fabric, creating a durable yet comfortable finish that feels like it’s been with you on every adventure.

Hand-pressed in small batches, each piece has its own subtle variations in placement, color, and texture, making every tee truly one of a kind, just like the wild moments that inspired it.
