This design began with a perfectly round Douglas fir log we found pre-cut along the backroads of Vancouver Island, BC. Its clean, natural shape immediately stood out—simple, timeless, and full of quiet character.
We brought the log back to the studio, hand-painted its surface, and pressed it into fabric the way nature intended—slow, intentional, and honest. The result is a design that honours the forests we explore and the moments of stillness they offer.
