Hand carved from a Douglas Fir tree round found near Beaver Tail Lake in Strathcona Park, the stamp was carefully shaped to reflect the island’s beaches, forests, and rugged terrain. Each curve and carved line preserves the natural character of the wood and the spirit of the island itself.

We use this hand carved Douglas Fir stamp to bring the design to life. With water based silk screen paint, each print is carefully hand pressed onto every tote, capturing the depth, texture, and charm of the original carving. The process is slow and intentional, allowing the character of the wood and the fabric to shine through.
